Better Late than Never

Here it is Father's Day. Have a Happy Father's day to all of you that read this blog. Things have been pretty hectic right now in my life. I have been dealing poker and then have taken on trying to loose some weight by going to Club 24 and doing my circuit training. This hasn't left me too much time to play poker. Trying to work out a schedule where I can get everything in and do the things I would like to do. I still would like to play one deepstack tournament per week. Trying to find that one is hard for me since I don't want to be up real late at night when I have to work the next day. That wouldn't look good being tired trying to deal the cards the next day. I have been trying to watch the WSOP streaming live on the computer as much as I can as well. It has been fun and I wish I could be there playing. I must say good luck to Aaron when you get to LV and try to make it as a player. It is always important to follow the dream. When I get to work in the morning we are allowed to sit at the table and play to fill the game up until others come into play. I do get to sit down but my $20 seems to go to the table and I don't learn much by the small amount of time I am there. A little frustrating but I take it as trying to fill the game and not much more. Since I have two days off in a row right now I am going to enjoy the outdoors a little bit and not do anything. We have two dealers on vacation and all of us have been putting in extra hours to make sure things get done. Have a fun day......

Monday

The weekend was good. I played in four tournaments and bubbled one of them. I then played the $15 buyin for a share of the $750 prize pool. It was a good tournament for me as I was able to get the cards when I needed them. Getting to the final table again and this time I was playing patient and waiting for the right cards and letting others be the aggressors at this time. When we got down to 7 handed the proposal was on the table to chop the pot and everyone leave with $107 each. Everyone finally agreed with this and after nearly four hours of playing we chopped it up. I haven't played any live lately and am ready to get back at that. I am thinking about starting a new website and doing something a little bit different. My goal has been to get better at poker but I think using some video and working on my live game with a certain amount as my bankroll would be fun. I would like to play in the 2013 WSOP. I would give myself a year to get myself ready and build the bankroll. Anyway, I am thinking about how I would put the website together. Go look at the "TheDanPlan", as I like his site and the idea of working on becoming better at something. Have a fun day......
